A large Service Group in Europe is on a journey to becoming an insights-driven company.  As part of the strategy, it has built a dedicated organization delivering shared data services. This role is part of several standard data-related roles within this organization.

Job Description

Creation of new features and maintenance of a robust data hub that enables the enterprise to make sense of the data it generates,  collects, or buys, allowing transition to a true insights-driven enterprise. The data hub acts also as an enabler for various Ml/AI initiatives in the Group.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data AWS/Snowflake data hub  to support intelligent data solutions
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data structures, and data repositories
• Design and implement data models.
• Promote DataOps culture

Skills And Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, SQL and Git.
• Experience with AWS
• Experienced in developing, deploying, and supporting scalable data pipelines (including but not limited to ETL, streaming ingestion, and processing)
• Knowledge of Snowflake or alternative data platforms is a major plus
• Understanding of Airflow
• Well versed with Agile methodology and DataOps
