Job Description

A business intelligence Engineer designs, develops and manages a company’s business intelligence infrastructure, tools, reports, and dashboards contributing to transitioning of the same into an insights-driven enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data structures, and data repositories
• Design and implement data models.
• Collect and maintain the set of business intelligence requirements.
• Design and develop reports and dashboards.
• Contribute to the creation of a Self-service BI ecosystem
• Setup and manage data platforms
• Promote DataOps culture
• Promote Self-service BI culture

Skills And Qualifications

• Demonstratable experience with the Google Cloud (GCP) ecosystem.
• Demonstratable experience with Google BigQuery, Google Data Studio, or similar alternatives.
• Proficient in SQL
• Understanding data modelling, and data schemas (normalized, flat, star, snowflake, etc.).
• Experienced in developing, deploying, and supporting scalable data pipelines (including but not limited to ETL, streaming ingestion, and processing)
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow or Google Cloud composer
• Knowledge of Python or similar language
